king of europe!

i'm proud to announce that manchester united is the king of both england and europe!!
yesterday was super fun, with ian,yufei,darren,rogan,daniel,jon muk and myself watching the champions league final 07/08 season with man utd vs chelsea. most of the people who watched at the kopi tiam were man utd supports, forming the majority on the night. ronaldo scored a beautiful header, while lampard equalise before halftime. the highlight of the night was the penatly shoot-out as both team were held to a draw after full-time, with drogba getting sent off! :)

when ronldo missed the third penalty shootout, everyone was shocked. all of us somehow know that he will miss. you guys gotta look at darren's,ian's and jonmuk's face when he missed, and we did contact Jeremy throughout the game. when its up to john terry, chelsea's captain to take, we were all shouting MISS MISS! and it was 4-4, once he scored, chelsea will be crowned champions. and he.... MISSED! he slid on the floor while taking that shot. the kopi tiem then erupted, with our gang jumping up and celebrate! soon after man utd scored a few more penalties and soon its anelka's turn. everyone pause for a moment and before he shoots, van der sar taunts him to shoot left, as all the chelsea kickers had been aiming left. anelka then shoot right, which van der sar jumps to the right and SAVED! our table once again,jumped up with JOY and kept chanting OLE OLE OLE OLE! what a dramatic night.
