The answer to all matters

Right now, many thoughts are going through my head. The Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. I want to make the best possible construction on everything that is happening around of, not being led by emotions but the Holy Spirit, for you are the answer to all matters.

I surrender all.

At this moment, I'm surrendering all to you. My life, thoughts, everything into your hands. Keep me Lord, give me joy, peace and patience. I pray in Jesus name, Amen.

Bitter to sweet transformation.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come; but as soon as she is delivered of a child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. - John 16:20-21

I'm still studying the book of John, and am always blessed by how the way Jesus speaks, heals, bless, comfort, and his 7 self descriptive terms he gave himself. The above mentioned verse stirred my heart, and I would like to share how God has used it to comfort me :)

Recently there are a few people that I know who are going through a rough patch in life, though they don't say it, or even express it to me, somehow I just know that they are not doing well. Is that how sorrowful is defined in the Scriptures?

In context, the background of this story is Jesus telling his disciples that he will be leaving them shortly, and it is leaving in a physical sense for a period of time which stretched till now. The world will be rejoicing because of the death of the Savior, whilst Christians, who want to seek the Lord will be left in despair, moaning and being sorrowful as how the Bible described. It was the loss of His personal presence, having the feeling of sheep without shepherd.

Maybe people are feeling a sense of loss today, doing many things to please people, trying many means to make up for the Presence of God. Fret not my friends! Because he had sent the comforter before he left. Though he cannot be seen by the naked eye, yet he is as powerful as our Lord Jesus Christ! I understand how it feels like to be loss, cause I was once loss out there, but God through his grace, brought me back to him countless times through his Spirit, and he can do that with you too! I would like to end with a positive note taken from the next verse.

And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. - John 16:22

Now we are talking! Christ promised us that he will see us again, what more, our joy will not be taken away ever again! Amen to this! :) Looks like I do not need to further illustrate the concluding verse, hope that this post will bless your hearts as it did blessed mine :)

This is my God.

Freely you gave it all for us.
Surrendered your life upon that cross;
Great is the love,
Poured out for all.
This is our God.
Lifted on high from death to life,
Forever our God is glorified,
Servant and King,
Rescued the world,
This is our God.

Whats your attitude after realising how much he had done for you?
